Catapults

Hello all

We were alerted by a member of the public today about some youths in possession of a catapult, this was in Lydd.

I attended the area and located three teenage males whereby I carried out a ‘stop search’ on them all under Section 1 of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act and located a catapult which was seized.

Parents/Guardians please take note of the attached poster in relation to the carrying of a catapult in public and advise your children if you suspect they might have access to one.
